Dark Moon Crossing, by Sylvia Nobel

This is my first exposure to Kendall O’Dell or Sylvia Nobel. It’s been a while since I acquired this book, but it must be one that I got free from one of my several free Kindle book resources.

Kendall is a reporter, but she gets mixed up in a devious human trafficking plot at the border of Arizona and Mexico, through a coworker who has had some relatives disappear amidst claims of UFO abductions.

Through her stubborn inability to give up, Kendall uncovers the truth, risking her life as well as her relationship with would be fiance Tally, who, at one point has had it with her wild goose chases. But it turns out that they aren’t wild goose chases, after all, and the big surprise is who is actually heading up the horrible operation at the end.

A fun romp involving horse ranches, illegal aliens, white supremacist groups, and “UFOs.” Plus, I think it actually gives a little enlightenment as to the problems experienced by ranchers living on the US side of the Mexico/US border.

TTFN, y’all!
